Description
Attributed to Ceus “Tibout” St. Louis, but could be the work of one of his students, such as Lhérisson Debreus.
Mixed media: sequins and beads sewn on fabric (10″ x 8”), on wood stretcher. Features raised design elements by means of stuffing cotton between layers of fabric using “trapunto” technique. Dated c.1960 per Phyllis Kind Gallery, New York.
