A rough (Google) translation of the text on the back follows:
“Here we see the gift from the gods. The tears transformed into the wondrous painting used for the pilgrimage—a journey they undertook to make themselves known to the gods dwelling in the desert. Through their own efforts and tears, they were able to receive the Sun God and the Fire God for the first time, welcoming their light and the *Illoni*—which had long since departed from Tetuapa. They found it, gave it life, and returned to the places they occupied at the center; there lies their *Illoni*, the seat of thought.”
